The SkyComm Test of Aviation English for Pilots is designed to assess pilots' ability to communicate effectively in both routine and emergency aviation scenarios, following ICAO Language Proficiency Requirements (LPRs). Exam Structure

This structured assessment, lasting approximately 45 minutes, ensures a thorough evaluation of your aviation English proficiency in realistic contexts. General Questions

Answer simple and technical aviation-related questions, which are addressed to the candidates to assess their communication skills.

Audio Comprehension

Listen to an ATIS message and a recorded problem during flight operations. Generate answers to the related questions.

Receiving Clearance

Simulated communication with air traffic control, focusing on requesting and receiving clearances.

Position Reporting

Announce position and direction using standard aviation phraseology based on given scenarios.

Readback Performance

Respond to an emergency situation with appropriate communication, managing interactions with ATC and making announcements to passengers.

Emergency Scenario

Listen to an emergency case in the air or on the ground, and get in touch with the air traffic controller in an appropriate manner.

Picture Description

Describe an aviation-related image, focusing on details such as the aircraft, environment, and any actions observed.

Video-Based Analysis

Watch a short video about an aviation incident and then, answer three questions related to the video.
